Hey lovelies. How is ur February going? Mines going pretty good so far! Recently when I was typing up my January wrap up post I decided instead of putting all the quotes I found out I love on there, I would just do a seperate post with all my favorite quotes, because there’s a lot xD
Maybe I’ll start a series of words I like, maybe not. We’ll see 😉 WoAh i’M sO SuSpenseFul 😂
Ahhhh this is perfect. We don’t look at the sunset and think ” hmmm I think the orange is to vibrant, I wish it was more blended in the left corner, the clouds mess up the vibe” Ok fine, maybe the last one xD but usually the clouds make the sunset soooo pretty. So often when we look at ourselves, we think things like ” Oh I just need to lose a couple pounds off my arms, I need to fix my hair, I need to tan because my skin is like a ghost, my freckles are ugly, My tooth is a tiny bit crooked”. You are God’s MASTERPIECE. He made you EXACTLY how he wanted you and He thinks you’re just Lovely 🙂 So next time you look at yourself, remember you’re God’s Sunset and he made you perfect.
The Little things. It’s the stuff that matters. Maybe next time you see a girl you think is pretty, compliment her, it makes you so happy when a stranger compliments you. buy someones lunch or pay for their coffee, it is a AMAZING feeling. Do a chore without ur parents asking. you feel useful and ur parents will be grateful.
Live for the little things.
We don’t realize how lucky we are to be able to have legs and arms that work and lungs that let us climb up mountains. We are INSANELY blessed with all that we have.
ahhh ❤ this. I was looking on Pinterest at 11 pm one night and found this and immediately got out of bed and wrote it on my dry erase board. When one of my friends came over she asked if I had wrote it or if it was of Pinterest bc she figured it sounded so much like me 🙂 I love the last line tho. ‘I’m just a fan of being alive’
Amen. When someone mentions their going thru a rough time or they need prayers, I’ll say ” Oh, I’ll pray for you.” But usually, that Prayer is a fast fleeing thought for them. I need to be more intentional about sitting down and praying for the people I said I would pray for.
This is so thought provoking. I love it.
Eeeekkkk this is my actual goal in life.
This is a really good reminder to just try and live life to the fullest.

Ughhh the first one, the Francis Chan one, and the last one are amazinggg. I love the one on being more intentional about one’s prayer life as well. As last year came to a close, I started to do that, and it’s made such an impact on my relationship with the Lord & how I’m feeling on a day to day basis. This is a fantastic roundup of quotes girl! xx

So true!! It’s funny how I’ve had those thoughts just… opposite for most of them. I feel like a stick figure so I wouldn’t mind having a few more pounds, my skin is very light and I don’t want to make it tan, and when I was a kid I prayed for freckles and red hair. 😂 Anyway. I needed this reminder. I need to stop comparing my sunset to other sunsets! 😊

Great post! I especially relate to the one about prayer! I’m always saying, “Oh, I’ll pray for you!” But then stopping there! Now, I’ve been trying to make myself pray for them before I say “I’ll pray for you.”

Thank you! Ahh yessss, I do the same thing. Now right when I say I’ll pray for u, I stop what I’m doing and say a quick prayer and then usually when I’m saying my nighttime prayers I’ll pray again. That’s what I’ve been trying to do anyways 🙂

That last quote was definitely the most influential, but I loved them all. People are giving up their New Year’s goals and that isn’t a problem. Why get down on yourself for not achieving something unachievable? This was a great post and it made me feel super grateful. We have lungs to breathe and legs to walk on. That truly is enough 🙂
