2020 Birthday haul *throws confetti on all of us*


Hey hey πŸ™‚ How are you? I’m good πŸ™‚ Just hanging out at home while this corona virus stuff hopefully blows over 🀞🏼🀞🏼🀞🏼 I figured I would take advantage of all the spare time I now have and hopefully I can go a lot of content up! Anyways, let’s get onto the haul!

*disclaimer: I am in no way, shape, or form trying to brag about what I got, I personally really enjoy reading these kinds of posts so when my birthday happened in February, I figured I could do a gift haul! I hope you enjoy!

First up: My parents got me Birkenstocks!! Ahhh I love them so much haha! Fun story, I used to think birks were ugly and they looked like grandma shoes but then the “vsco girl trend thing ordeal” happened and even though I’m not a vsco girl, I now like Birkenstocks. So I’ve begged my mom since last summer and I finally convinced her to get them for me for my Birthday! I absolutely love them, but I have had to get a few callouses and I have like a corn thing or something on the side of my foot and it hurts? My mom said I need to take a break from wearing them but we’ll see πŸ˜‰

Yes, I got the basic ones πŸ™„ They’re so cute though!

Next, some takes my bro’s got me. I LOVE takis. They kill me everytime (bc I’m a wimp and can’t handle hot stuff) but I will continue eating them because I want to. and because they’re addicting and delicious. What are ur thoughts on takis? I feel like they’re low-key controversial πŸ˜‚

YUMMMMM.

From my grandparents, I got a brush, some chocolate, paint (not pictured, idk why) and a $25 Visa card (which I’m very excited to use bc I’ve never had one before xD) Luckily, the chocolates were gluten free so I could eat them! I’ve been gluten free for almost a whole month now y’all! But I really enjoyed eating the chocolate, bc duh. It’s chocolate?!?

Next, my aunt and uncle gave me a carton of orange juice. because they know I love it. So I drank out of the carton immediately, so that my siblings wouldn’t steal any (they’re scared of my gErMsss) and I thoroughly enjoyed the WHOLE carton! My aunt and uncle also gave me two ten dollar gift-cards to amazon, and I’m super excited about that bc amazon is awesome and you can always find stuff to buy on there πŸ™‚

my love ❀️ Also the ‘Jas’ was me making sure my siblings knew it was mine πŸ˜‰ I’m very protective of my juice.

I also got 15 dollars from some friends so thats cool bc money is cool πŸ™‚

  7. Happy belated birthdayyy! Love all the goodies you got and I hope you enjoy them!! Dude my journey with Takis was a long one but I used to be OBSESSED with them in grade 7 and 8. Like they’d be included in a reference EVERY presentation I did and at least one friend would get me a huge pack for my birthday. And then in grade 8, my sister, cousin and I did a sandwich challenge and my sister ate too many Takis that day. She felt a stomachache at the bowling alley and when we got back to our old apartment, she threw up Takis all over the lobby. So now I’m traumatised and never bought them since lol. πŸ˜‚ They were really good tho but they’re also really bad for you so I’m like I-. πŸ˜‚ Anyways, love this post!

      Ahah I only tasted takis in December so I haven’t had that long of a journey yet… oh noooo!!! Ahh puking up takis sounds HORRIBLE!! I would possibly be traumatised also πŸ˜‚ Yeah, they’re probably super u healthy with all the red dye butttt πŸ˜‚ I will continue to eat them for now.

    I love Birkenstocks too!!! (Though I don't have any.) πŸ™‚ My mom has foot problems (she has a super high arch), so she has to wear them all the time or she'll develop more problems.

    I love orange juice too!!! Do you like high pulp or low pulp? I love the high pulp; I've just grown up drinking it since my parents like it a lot. And I regret to say that I've never had takis before. I've will have to try those!

    ❀ ❀ I love getting money for my birthday too. You can choose to get so many different things. And you can save it if you want to as well. πŸ™‚

      Orange juice is bomb. It is literally my fav! I don’t honestly know… I like both! My mom usually buys high pulp I think but honestly any orange juice is good orange juice to me πŸ˜‚

  17. Those Birkenstocks look so cute!😍 It’s always the best looking shoes that hurt us πŸ˜‚ I’ve never tried Takis before, are they like Doritos? I got a strange urge to drink from a carton but I’d get called out for it seeing as none we have actually belong to me πŸ˜‚ I LOVE orange juice but it brings on a migraine everytime annoyingly πŸ™„ Loved this post!       Takis are kinda hard to explain, they’re like the same chip substance as Doritos but they’re rolled so they’re more shaped like cigarettes (weirdest description ever but idk what else to say πŸ˜‚) and they’re pretty spicy! But I love them!
      Haha my parents+siblings don’t like when I drink out of the carton/jug so it’s a rare occasion… but sometimes when there’s only a couple sips of a beverage left in the jug, it’s allowed! It’s such a cool but weird feeling, I def recommend trying it sometime πŸ˜‚

  18. I love your Birks! I got ones last summer that are a slightly different style (a little more strappy), but I love the cute simplicity of yours! And yes, it takes time to break them in. I got several blisters when I first got mine, but once they’re formed to you’re feet, you won’t ever want to take them off! I’m sure you’ll love them, just keep wearing them and in a couple weeks they’ll be comfy and soft!

    I don’t like takis because I also have a low tolerance for spicy food but, maybe I’ll give them a second chance. OJ is the best and smart move putting your name on the bottle because if your siblings are anything like mine, that bottle would have been finished by the end of the day!:)
