Hello beautiful people! How has your June went? I can. not. believe. that. June. is almost. over.!!! It’s so crazy and I’m not readyyyy 😳 Has anyones else’s June went like that? I feel like it flew by!
Anyways, recently one of our local roads had their neighborhood garage sales! If you know me, you know I love thrifting and yard/garage sailing 🙂 It’s a great way to find new clothes for cheap, and it’s a good way to not support the fast fashion business! I love a good deal so I LOVE garage sailing. I found a cardigan and I’m now obsessed. I found a couple more at later garage sales and I am very pleased with what I ended up with 🙂
My friend and our mothers went with us and I scored BIG. At least in my opinion 🙂 I’ll try to remember the prices and put them below the pictures but here are some of my favorite finds!

This lovely “wrap shirt sweater thing” was one dollar. ONE DOLLAR.
I’m not a huge fan of the color as gray doesn’t look the best on me in my opinion but this was one of my first things I found and I’m very pleased. I think it will be an adorable sweater for fall and winter and I can’t wait to use it in outfits this coming year! I’m also wearing it right now but it’s been in the 80’s where I live so it’s a bit too hot 😉
This cute little cardigan was…. wait for it… .50!!! Fifty cents people. I’m in awe 😂 I absolutely love this color and the black fits my wardrobe perfectly, I wear a ton of black shirts 😉 Side note: sorry about the horrible nails I have, I need to take off the remaining nail polish but it’s not much 😂 This is maybe my favorite find, it’s so versatile and will look super cute with tons of things 🙂
AHHH I LOVE THIS SWEATER 🥰 It was one of the spendier things I bought and even though I say it wasn’t as cheap as others, it was only $2! My kind sister told me (as I tried it on) that there is a VERYYY fine line between looking like a grandma and looking cute 😂 She said I look cute but I was slightly offended at first xD. I still love it though and I can’t wait to wear this cute sweater with a dress this year! Or even with a pair of shorts and a shirt, the possibilities are endless 🥳

This bad boy was a dollar. Seriously, I love garage sailing so much, I can’t even. This cardigan didn’t come tied up but I think it looks cuter tied so thats how its going for right now 🙂 I adore the color, it’s so pretty! I think it’ll look super cute with some black jeans and Birkenstocks or a ton of other outfits 🙂

I’ve never been to a grave sail and I’ve never seen them either but they sound absolutely wonderful and it sounds like you can get some seriously awesome bargains! Honestly, I can’t believe I’ve never gone to a garage sale when I consider how much I actually enjoy thrifting! I love, love, love these finds, knits & cardigans are generally what I pick up when I go thrifting too :’)

Okay so I was thinking wow maybe these will be like $10 and $15 what great finds but NO this sis got some $1 and 50 cents finds I’m in aweee. Sadly I’ve never had garage sales in my area but this is so cool and I just love all these tops! Grey looks awesome on you btww! And ahaha I totally get you on feeling like cardigans make me look like a grandma but it honestly looks gorgeous on you. Love thisss! ❤

Ahah I see. I can relate 😂 I walked on pavement barefoot two days ago and burnt my feet so bad I now have a quarter sized blister 😭😂

I know, garage sales are super fun…I love just cruising around and looking at what they have. It’s amazing what you can find out there!Our neighborhood here has a huge garage sale once a year (though you could do one any time of the year) where they set out tagged stuff on their driveway so people can just drive around the entire neighborhood and see everything set out on driveways. It was cancelled due to COVID, but I think that will be really fun to participate in next year!

One of the nearby towns by my house has an annual town-wide yard sale and supposedly there are usually over 100 sales! I dont know if it is happening this year though :((

I loved this post!!! I ADORE thrift shopping and garage sailing!!! We have a small town near us that, every year, has a town-wide garage sale day. And I absolutely adore that.

Nope not a lot, we live in a pretty rural area so it’s kinda hard to find some. Occasionally I’ll try Goodwill but I don’t usually have a lot of luck there. 😛

I love cardigans so much. I really like how you can wear a shirt under them and then you have 3 outfits in one. I really like the last one. The waffle knit ones are my favorite. I have a scarlet one that I love.
