Prayer request: UPDATE *smiles*

Hey guys. Today I’m just popping in to write a quick little note and ask a favor of y’all. Where I live is currently on fire, not my home but the state. There is currently a fire within 10-ish miles of my house, maybe even closer. The fire’s been burning since yesterday morning and we’ve been living in smoky conditions since Monday. In the picture above you can see the smoke. Tonight we were issued a level 2 evacuation. There’s three levels, the first is to know a danger is close and exists, second is to be packed and be ready to leave at a moments notice, and three is to get out, leave! So yeah, currently we’re packed up, ready to evacuate. We’re just waiting for the call.

I wanted to hop on my blog and say hi, I hope you’re having a great day! And also to ask for prayers 🙂 I’m not trying to get pity or anything like that, I’m just a bit scared at the thought that my house could burn down. Packing and deciding what to take and what to leave (and possibly never get back) was hard.

So, in conclusion, please pray if you can. I’d appreciate it. A lot of houses and families are probably hurting tonight. And prayers for all the EMT workers that are on scene, we’re so grateful for them ❤

UPDATE: 8/11/20

Hello lovelies! Wanted to update y’all, and let you know that our situation hasn’t changed much. We’re still on level two evacuation order, so be ready to go at a moments notice. We never got the call for level three and honestly, I don’t expect it. The fire has slowed along with the wind and I believe that they’re starting to fight it from the sky today with airplanes and helicopters and more crews of firefighters are arriving this morning to provide backup. Our neighbor is a firefighter and he says that he doesn’t think the fires will reach anywhere near our house. Of course, anything is possible. But God’s got this. Thank you so so much for all your prayers, they’re much appreciated. Stay safe and have a lovely day,

  3. Praying hard for you, Jasmin!! The Lord is faithful, and He is sovereign. I live in the valley, so although some fires have gotten closer than most years, we’re still safe. May Jesus give you peace, comfort, strength, and may you be able to just rest in Him. ❤

    That sounds scary and it’s understandable that your nervous! Praying for you and hope that everything gets better soon! Keep us updated and know that you have so many people praying for you that God just has to listen 😂

  10. I’m praying! ❤️❤️ We are in the exact same situation, except we live more in the city, so we aren’t in danger of the fire. Friends of ours who live farther out have had to evacuate though. The sky is yellowish and it’s kinda smoky.

    Everything will be alright love x We had a really similar situation here in Australia this year. We were issued an evacuation, as in, get up and leave now, but thankfully we were able to return:)

    Have faith, love and hope and everything will sort itself out!

      I'm so sorry that you had to experience that, I heard about it back when it happened and I remembered feeling so bad for everyone involved. Thankfully, we haven't been issued the level three evacuation but for now it's just the waiting game.

  24. Dear Lord, I pray that these peoples house will not burn down and you will keep them safe and the firefighters safe while they are fighting this fire. I pray you will put a hedge of safety around them and protect them. please Lord dont let their house burn down don’t let the fire come any closer. Please Lord, in Jesus name I pray and in your will Amen.

    Do you mind telling me where its at we have had so many fires here up in Montana! its so dry it did rain to put them out so I am thankful it was getting awfully close to home! I understand what your feeling right now and I am praying for you and your family! God will take care of you! 🤗

      1. Your very welcome there is a power in prayer and God can take care of everything just rest on him.💕 just pray and keep praying that it will be put out I’ll pray with you friend! Yes this year has been very bad for wildfires there was one that was about 20-30 mins away from my home that was scary! But, rain put it out thankfully!       10. Too bad They’re not predicting any rainfall till’ Monday, but I know HE can and has done miracles before. But remember even if He doesn’t, he is still with you and has a plan that you are included in. Sorry if that sounds too methodical( is that a word ; ) ) Keep is updated and be safe. Bye.
