Hello! I figured I’d pop on here tonight and do a quick life update because I haven’t done one in basically forevrrrr. so please enjoy!
Things that have happened:
- In October/September I passed both my written and drive test for drivers ed so I will officially be legal to drive by myself on February 21st, my birthday! I can not wait, driving is so fun in my opinion and I can’t wait to be able to go hang out with friends without needing to be a ride from my parents.
- I reached 300 followers on my blog AND I’m hosting a Christmas giveaway to celebrate! Check it out here and enter for a chance to win 😉 I also re-designed my blog with a new theme and I’m loving how it turned out!
- With Covid going around still my family has done quite a bit together as a fam. One day we went on a mini road trip up into the hills to a nearby mountain and I got some cool pics!
- I’ve fallen of the bullet-journaling train for now, but I’m hoping to hop back on next year. I just needed a break to get my creative juices flowing but I’m still loving pen-paling! My friends and pen-pals are the best, I’m so thankful for each of them!
- I’m in the Christmas spirit, even more than last month and tonight we got our tree and are soon to put it up and decorate it so that is always exciting!
- I still drink lots and lots of coffee but I’ve started drinking a bit of hot cocoa because the caffeine has started giving me headaches.
- We start Christmas break this Thursday and we’re on break until JANUARY. I’m so excited!!
Anyways, that’s a quick update of how my life has been going! Now enjoy some pictures 🙂 *I edited all these with Lightroom.

wooooow, congratulations on both 300 followers and in getting your drivers license! im literally 20 years old and don’t have my driver’s license yet, lol. i was supposed to get it this year, but with covid, everything got delayed and now i’ve kinda lost the motivation to get it. anyway, let’s hope the new year brings my motivation back, hahah.
hope you’re having a great holiday season, jasmine! (also your brother looks HUGE!!!! he’s sitting up already, that’s amazing!! and he looks adorable hahah)

Ah! Your art journal and the pictures from your trip are absolutely beautiful! You are such an inspiration. That pumpkin spice cold brew, by the way, looks delicious. I’m more of a simple iced latte gal but I should definitely experiment with my taste in drinks. A big congratulations on passing both your driving tests. That’s a big deal! I’m still on my learner’s at the moment. I have completed seventeen out of the one hundred and twenty hours needed to be eligible for my provisional plates. There’s just a lot of conditions to it. I also have to drive in different weather and light conditions and then I’d need to pass an actual drive test. Kinda scary since I haven’t driven in a while, oops!

Aww thank you so much lovely. That’s one of the highest complements so thank you lovely 💛 Ah, guess what?! I’m currently drinking another pumpkin spice cold brew haha! They’re so good and easy to make too 🤩 I’m into sweet coffees but the nice thing about the pumpkin spice cold brew is how versatile it can be, if you like sweeter, add a bit more cream and vice versa, you like coffee more=add more coffee!
Thank you! it was quite exciting! Now I just need a couple more night time/weather hours. We only have to get 40 hours over here of day time and then 10 or night or inclement weather so 120 hours sounds like a ton!! Best of luck to completing that, it sounds tedious. But driving is worth it, promise 🙂 I enjoy it so much 💛

Haha thats truee. I’ve been pretty good, we’ve had a bunch of tests lately but now it’s gonna be winter break so I’m happy about that!! How about you? Is anything cool happening soon? ☺️

OH I RELATE. I have semester tests tmrw, wish me luckkkk 😬 But then I get Christmas break until January 10th or something so I’m thrilled for that! Hmm.. not much more going on in my life rn haha

LOVE the photos!!!!!!!! I’ve always wanted to include little things in my letters but I can never find anything!!! You should do a post on snail mailing/ recent letters that I’m sending/ what to include in letters and where to find it/ how to make a snail mail letter match color wise!! XD I need these!! Christmas is my ABSOLUTE favorite tradition. I think sugar cookies are my favorite for Christmas cookies… Also, I always make toffee for Christmas Eve and I love that. 😊

Aw thank you so much! I wanted something with a little bit of a more professional feel but still casual and I feel it suits it well 🙂 I’m glad you like it! Ooo snickerdoodles are a classic and for good reason! I think I might have to go with raspberry thumbprint cookies, they’re so good! Maybe I’ll have to do a recipe post this year…
