Hey hey lovelies! How are you? I’m back! First off, I’m sorry I kinda just dropped off the face of the earth for a bit there, I got my license and a lot more which I’ll go into more detail on in this post but my life got real busy and I just didn’t have time to type a post. Blogging is something I really love but I didn’t want to force myself to write so just kinda was waiting for a little break so I could get a post up on my own time ya know?
So this is my life update from February and March! My life has been great, I’m living the dream and enjoying it a lot 🤩 Still have had my ups and downs but that’s life. Some big things that happened:
- I got my license!!!! and turned a year older ahhh good job meee 😂
- I bought a car! I have car payments which is INSANELY stressful and I don’t recommend but I’ve payed off 60% of my dear ‘Brenda’ so thats thrilling. Would y’all like an introduction post where I show u my car and give you a little tour of her? And yes, I’m one of those weirdos who named her car and refers to it as a person basically. It’s fine though, im cool. promise. 😉
- I played a season of slow pitch softball for our local high school! It was crazy and many new experiences but I did enjoy it. I did so many big girl things like drove myself to my first few games, got on the bus which i’ve never done before because i’m homeschooled, and just overall stepped out of my comfort zone.
- I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone a lot these past few months so proud of myself for that. Kinda like the last highlight but I’ve went to dr. appointments by myself, made appointments, and one day I even drove into the sketchy city to go get my oil changed. Oh my, that was an experience. Since we bought my car at a dealership I had free servicing there and I needed my oil changed so I made an appointment there for 7:50 in the morning. Got up, dragged my sister with me because I didn’t wanna go alone and drove an hour to get there. Then I’m a dumb little teenager and didn’t know what to do when I got to the car dealership so I felt a little stupid but I fumbled my way through it with my sweet sister by my side and eventually left the dealership around 10 after getting my oil changed and acquiring some new license plates. Ah I’m so grown *pats myself on the back*
- Lovely lovely news, I fell on my butt and fractured my tailbone. This wasn’t my first rodeo, I’m so clumsy and I’ve fallen and hurt my tailbone before but this time I actually got an x-ray and yeah, fractured tailbone it is. It doesn’t hurt much except when I sit at hard benches for long amounts of time.
- Did some jobs for friends and family and got some money to pay off Brenda! I construction cleaned 12 4-plexes with some friends and oof, that took a while. It was enjoyable kind of though and I made money 🤪
- I bought a phone! I got an iPhone 11 so please be amazed with the quality, I sure am. I love it very much and yeah, it’s pretty awesome.
- School’s crusin on. We start summer break on May 6th and I couldn’t be more excited! Last week we had a protocol event which is basically like a dance and we did a semi formal barn dance type event and it was so fun! I’m so bad at dancing but luckily everyone else was in the same boat as me so we all learned how to English line/folk dance and I enjoyed it! I also had a Lincoln Douglas debate for the first time ever which I struggled through and didn’t quite enjoy but its now over!!
- Hung out with my neighbors a lot still, their pretty cool 👌🏼 The other day my brother accidentally cut his leg with a hatchet while hiking up in the woods so my parents brought him into the ER to get it stitched and my neighbors came over and we had a midnight photo shoot with pit viper sunglasses, balloons, little ceaser pizza boxes and dart guns. The photos are beautiful as u can probably imagine 😂
I think that probably wraps up most of my big things I did, so now enjoy some pictures! With that crisp new iPhone vibe 🤩

I left a comment like a week ago but I guess it never came through 😦 Anyway, I’m so happy you’re back! All those pics are so aesthetic, I’m especially loving the horse with the sunglasses XD Please do a car tour, that would be so fun! We have 2 weeks left of CC and I’m sad but also ready for it to be done (I’m in Challenge 1 and we have all those projects..) but I recently got my permit so that’s a plus! Yay for you getting your license, a car, and a new phone! I have an iphone 6s plus that I love, but once it dies I’ll probably get an 11. Sorry you fractured your tailbone, ouch! I hurt my tailbone figure skating when I was younger and it was NOT fun. We had protocol a few weeks ago, and it was super fun, except we didn’t do line dancing which sounds even better! As for music, I’m totally obsessed with Shawn Mendes’ entire album wonder XD I’m also loving Deja Vu (the clean version) by Olivia Rodrigo and The Middle by Alessia Cara and Zedd. I could probably go on and on about music so I’ll leave it at that 😂 Hope you’re doing well!

It’s the cutest thing ever and I’ll be sure to include it in my April dump 🎉 Ahhh good luck with the last of your projects, I remember those last couple weeks being stressful!
Ayyyeee we were in the same boat with the phones! I had a 6s which was great but the camera quality was lacking and my home button was broken for a while. Let me know what you think of the 11 when you upgrade!! Congrats on getting your permit too, thats so exciting! How has it been, do you drive much?
Yup, the tailbone fracture kinda sucks but luckily I think it’s mainly healed. It only hurts sitting through church services for a couple hours on a hard pew but I survive 😉

Haha!I knew you’d post at some point!😂 My biggest mindblow is that you broke your tailbone and nobody in my family ever knew. Definitely would like to see a car tour. Good job on this post. It was awesome.👍

Haha took me a while but finally got er done 😂 I think a reason for that is that my x-rays didn’t come back for like 2 weeks so by the time we got them back, my tailbone hadn’t hurt much anymore and so we kinda were like “huh well that’s interesting” and thats all we did haha!

glad you’re back!! happy late birthday & congrats on getting ur license & car; i remember how excited and anticipatory that was for me // i love the photos here omg, they’re reminding me of summer which i cannot wait for! // way to push urself and get out of ur comfort zone a little! i’ve been working on doing that as well bc covid really made my introverted self get even more introverted than ever haha. // my last couple of months have been pretty lovely, but i’m getting senioritis pretty bad and am struggling to stay motivated for school :’)

Yay! You’re back! That’s so cool you got a car! You should totally do a car tour. All your photos are so aesthetic 😍 I love the one with the horse with sunglasses lol. We had protocol two weeks ago as well, and it was super fun, though we didn’t dance. My cc ends about the same time as you, and I cannot wait for summer!! Why thank you! I use a preset on Lightroom and I got the filter off a FLTR which is like this free preset app! It’s super great and helpful because I didn’t want to buy presets 😉

Ah, Jasmin! Hey Girl! So good to have you back. Interesting how life can just be chugging along and then you get thrown all sorts of twists and turns! Congratulations on getting your license and a car! That’s so exciting. I still only have seventeen hours on my learner plates but I’m determined to make it to the next level before I turn eighteen in December. Taking it slow but I’ve almost finished my first semester in college, my room makeover project is complete except for taking my bed frame in (I’ve literally just been sleeping on the mattress hahah) and so on. So many changes though! Met my new stepmom for the first time this week. Those firsts are always interesting. Simple things like going places by yourself. Solo trips, driving out of your area. The like. Almost a rite of passage in ways. Ah, a fractured tailbone is no fun! My mom actually fractured hers when she was younger. Tripped and fell and was in so much pain but didn’t want to cry in front of her friends. She was fine for a good while but then her pain was triggered again after I was born. Whoops. What are they doing to help you?
As for music, I’m loving Taylor Swift’s fearless album. So lovely and just pure with all the photos and video from her younger years. Interesting to see how her sound has changed over time as well!
Next question! iPhone gal all the way! I’ve got the eleven pro max and it’s the best device. Definitely a huge increase in quality from the eight I used to have!

Thank you, thank you, driving is quite lovely and the freedom of being able to drive myself is ahhhh-mazing. Of course it comes with responsibilities and other cons like I have to do grown up things without my parents but that's all a part of life I suppose 😉

How did meeting your new stepmom go? Those things are hard but hoping and praying that your experience with it is going as well as it can ❤
Actually nothing is being done for my tailbone, apparently there's not a lot they can do. They recommend sitting on a special pillow and not putting immense pressure on it, etc. but I've just been living as normal. It has only bothered me when I sit on hard surfaces like a bench or church pew for an extended amount of time and for that I'm grateful, it could be much worse.
I've heard that album is wonderful and from what I've heard of it, it's pretty dang good 🤩
Ohhh awesome! That's wonderful, upgrading your phone is always so exciting! Going from the 6s to an 11 was huge for me and im so grateful I had the opportunity to do that 😄

My February, March and April have all felt exactly the same and the only difference is that it’s getting hotter. Oh and it’s now Ramadan so school is shorter for like a month and I am very happy about that☺️ My favourite song right now is probably Sweet Creature by Harry Styles, idk why I’m suddenly listening to it again so much lol. Aaand I have an iPhone x which I am quite happy with (super cool that you got a new phone btw!).
