The other day my sister and I got together and we had a little cookie decorating party with a friend! It was super fun and I think the cookies turned out pretty adorable 🥰
So I thought, why not share some pics with you guys! Also, I’ve been having a bit of writers block so if you have any post ideas for me, please please please drop them in the comments, I’d much appreciate!!
Anyways, here’s some photos!
Which cookie is your fav? And I love the Christmas tree one, I had to throw that one in because I’m definitely getting into the holiday spirit 🙂
Ok! After that sneaks peak I’ll give you the recipe haha 🙂
This recipe is called “the best sugar cookies” and it’s a family recipe! They’re super super easy to make and worked perfect for our cookie decorating party!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp.almond extract
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 cups all purpose flour
And then there’s no baking instructions but we baked on 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes! They turned out great and tasted so good!

Next, to decorate we made royal icing which was awesome! It was my first time making this kind of icing and it was so fun to use and super duper easy to make! I’ll link the recipe below 🙂

Is that the one (recipe book) your mom made? I MIGHT have it. My favorite is definitely the Mr. Mustache at the end. As for ideas, what do you want your posts to be about and show your passion for? In other words, I really have nothin’🤷♂️ Maybe a post about how YOU write a letter? (ya’ know, for all is noobs) If anyone has a better idea then please just say it. ✌️

It’s going pretty good. Just been snapping away with my camera. We got our first snow the other day and get frost on the ground almost every morning now. It’s dipping into the high 20’s at night now. If you can’t tell, I’m exited for winter🙂
