Hey hey 🙂 How are you? I’m good :)) This month, with the quarantine stuff going on, I had a bit of extra time so I managed to get my bujo setup done in time! I chose to draw a cute cafe ( I completely copied of a Pinterest so welp but the rest of my pages are original xD) but then I kind of struggled knowing what to do the rest of my little doodles as, because I didn’t want to just do a bunch of little cafes everywhere 🙂 So we ended up doing a lot of coffee cups xD
Onto the pictures!
My cute little cafe 🙂 I am really happy with how this came out! I listened to a whole church sermon while I sketched it, so it came out pretty good, imo 😉 I love cute little cafes and if this same cafe exists somewhere in this world, I would be very happy 🙂 On the other side of this page is a quote ( you can see the whole spread in the picture above) but I didn’t take a pic of the quote… So yeah, this is my cover page! Overall, I’m happy with it!
Next is a really cool ( in my opinion) college that I crafted together using coffee pics I printed off of Pinterest! On the opposite page is my mood tracker, which I’m pretty happy with! Sorry this pic is a bit blurry, I don’t know why this one came out like that!
This is my calendar that I spent a good hour creating. *rolls eyes* I HATE making calendars because it takes me FOREVER to line everything up and get it to look decent but it finally happened so yay!
Next is my bucket list/goals and my playlist! I was pretty happy with how both of these turned out!
Last and (kinda least) we have my weekly spread/journal! It’s INSANELY basic, but I chose functionality over intenseness and I’m hoping it works well! . . . . . . . . . .
And that’s all for today!!! What’d u think?! Which page is your favorite? Do you have a bullet journal? If so, what was your theme for April?I hope u enjoyed and I’ll try and post soon!
hey hey. How are you? I’m good, although I think I’m currently coming down with what my family has had so prayers I don’t get sick.
We’re nearing the end of February, so that means it’s time for another bullet journal post! I also tried to kind of make it a tutorial but low-key failed so oh welp. I think that a video tutorial would be so much more helpful so I’m looking into how to go about that! This is gonna be a shorter post as I don’t know how to expand a lot on my pages. But aside from that, please, enjoy!
Okayyyy. Turns out the only page I did step by step was this one so make sure you treasure it xD.
Step one: sketch the design. Funny story, I was actually gonna do coffee as my march theme but after trying and NOT succeeding THREE times, I went for the easier alternative: Lavender. Which is pretty cool. Actually it gives me a rash and I think I’m allergic to it but it looks cool 😂 So I sketched my lavender stalk out with a pencil and that is the end result.
Step two: Draw a line, splitting the page where you want to cut it. I drew a line down the center of the page, splitting the page in half and creating a line for me to follow when I was cutting the excess page off. * Claps for me bc I cut the page acceptable-ish*
Step three: Cut with scissors down the line, following the design of your leaf/stalk/creation. I cut down the line very slowly and then at the end I rushed it because I was tired and wanted to be done 😂 Overall it’s not terrible looking, so that makes me happy.
Step four: ( shown in picture below) Color in the sketch! YaY!
TA-DA!!!! I actually really like the colors of this and its super easy to draw lavender, So lavender is a cool theme.*raises eyebrows* its the best when we down have to try really hard and it still looks decent right?!? As you’ve probably noticed, I’m in a very sarcastic mood rn, probably because I don’t feel the best so please forgive me 🙂
Next, I abbreviated March and then continued on to adding the dates/calendar thing. And that is the result of my cover page! What’d you think?!? *Proudly holds it for you to see* *hand flourishes around it* I’m quite happy with the result!
This is were the tutorial stops. sorry sorry sorry!!!
Eeeekkk I like this feature! I hid a quote, my goals and the word of the month under the flap of the lavender branch and I LOVE it! The only drawback is that there is a blank spot on the right side of the page, above the Mar. and calendar but I didn’t want to try and add a quote or something and mess it all up. So we’re gonna live with it 😊
Moving right on, here is my notes and mood tracker. I especially like the key part of the mood tracker, it looks cool to me?! The notes page is pretty simple, its where I jot down ideas, notes, and anything that doesn’t have a designated area!
Next is my calendar, which I’m not as proud of, but it’ll work. The reason I dislike it is because it doesn’t have the day of the week, which is usually helpful for me, so I will probably either work the days of the week in or not do this layout again.
Last page. *cries silently* Here I have my playlist, which is pretty self-explanatory, and also my memories page, which is where I write down small memories of different days. A lot of times I won’t have time to journal daily ( which I need to start doing) So I’ll just jot down a quick note of what I did and why/how it was special!
THATS IT FOR TODAY FOLKS! Hope you enjoyed!Sorry I was so sarcastic xD
What page was your favorite? Do you have a bullet journal? What was your theme for March? Talk to me in the comments!
Thank you a million for reading, your support is the bestest ❤️❤️❤️
Hey guys! Welcome or welcome back to my blog! Today I’m doing a……. ( drumroll please)…… *drumroll*….. BULLET JOURNAL post!! Yayayayay! These are probably the most popular posts on my blog and they’re also some of my favorite posts to type so yeah, Its cool! Next month for my March bujo setup I’m going to try and do a tutorial type post to show how I set my bujo up?!? Does that sound cool? I think it sounds fun! Ju from over at The Ju Photography actually commented on my last bujo post and asked if I was planning on doing one and I figured it was a good idea!
Anywhoooooooo lets get onto the actual post!
Here is the front cover page, and I’m quite happy with it! It’s simple but cute and I really like simple themes bc then they don’t take foreverrrrrrr to do xD. If u couldn’t already tell, I’m slightly (read highly) lazy and so I like short, easy things 😂 I struggled with the banner of hearts at the top bc (ummmmmmm idk why) but it turned out fine 🙂 Also, the calendar is messed up bc I accidentally wrote Saturday and Sunday next to each other at the top and so yeah, its not a huge issue but also not ideal :))
Next is my mood tracker, super basic and normal but very functional and cute so I’m happy with it!
Next is my big February calendar which is ALSO messed up because there’s only 6 days across and not seven so its slightly of kilter but oh welp, it works 🙂 I really like having a bigger calendar so I can write on the dates and then I also have my area for important dates down at the bottom so thats helpful as I can put birthdays, anniversary’s and just regular things that are happening down there 😀
Next is my playlist and note pages which are both basic and simple but super helpful and nice 🙂 On my notes page I have my favorite things, books I read in February, Goals and my money saved in February. I will pry fill in all of this at the end of February and we’ll hope I save some money and read some books bc that would be GRAND xD. O and my playlist page is very basic, just song title and artist name, I really like playlists bc then I can look back and remember all the good old songs I love!
Last but not least is my self care challenge which is a new addition, I’ve never done one before but I seen it on Pinterest and it looked cool so I figured why not?!?!? I put some self care goals on there and I’m hoping to have crossed off all of them by the end of the month! I really want to go to a bookstore bc I went to one recently but it was in a touristy area and so the books were all TONS of money and ummmm I’m basically broke so I cant afford any xD. But, I want to go to the book shop thats in the closest town bc someone new bought it and I heard she’s super nice 🙂 And since its not a tourist attraction the books will hopefully be more affordable :)) So yeah, maybe if I go I’ll do a book haul or something?
I figured I’d throw this in bc why not? These are the pens and drawing accessories I used while doing my February set up! My two top favorites out of these are definitely the Pilot G-2 07 pens and the Stabilo Boss original pastel Sharpies. These two are my absolute Favs and I use them for EVERY setup and page in my bullet journal, 10/10 would recommend 😀 Also, white out/correction tape/whatever you want to call it is an actual lifesaver hahaha, I use it for all my mess-ups 🙂
And that is all for this post!Hope u enjoyed!
Do you have a bullet journal? Do you have any special plans for February? Whats ur favorite pen/marker/pencil? Would u like a bujo tutorial? Let me know in the comments :))
Hey guys! welcome or welcome back to my blog! I’ve got a new post for u ( be happy please bc this is quite a rare occasion ;)) Ok, but in all seriousness, I need to post more. Thats my goal for 2020 -be consistent with blogging. So expect to see more posts in February because I’m going to type up some drafts so when I don’t have time to type a post, my drafts will be ready to SHINE xD Anyways, I’m going to try, so cross your fingers 😉 But ya girl is busy, school is drowning me over hereeeeeeeeee
Anywhooooo…. onto the actual post!
I think this is the last 2020 bujo setup post that anyone will post in 2020 aka I am the LATEST but ahem…. we’ll say its okay 😂 also, this has my January setup bc it was very short and sweet so I figured why not throw it in? NOW: Onto the post!!!
Here is my Bujo!! I really like it although it wasn’t exactly what I thought was getting! I bookmarked this page on amazon and told my mom this was what I wanted and she bought them for me so thank you mom, if ur reading this ;)) When I picked them out I didn’t realize that they are grid lined and not dotted pages but I actually still really like them! I got the clear cover one so my first page is the front page and its spiral bound so u can rip out ur mess-ups, as I mess up quite a bit and my previous journals have all been “threadbound”? idk the work but they’ve been bound like books so I really like the spiral bound! For the actual page I went very simple and minimalistic and I really like it!
Ahhhhhh the famous RESOLUTIONs page 😉 So for 2020, I decided I was going to have goals, resolutions, and a bucket list. Aren’t those all the same?? u might be wondering. Well, they might be to you but to me this is what the mean:
Resolutions: wide goals ie. get into better habits, grow my blog etc.
Goals: precise goals ie. reach 150 followers on my blog, make a high school softball team etc.
Bucket list: fun goals and things I want to do this year ie. go iceskating, carve a pumpkin etc.
so yeah, this is my resolution page and I tried to keep it simple and I really like how it turned out! Also, I really like the quote bc i’m big on stuff like living ur life, not just existing, and trying to make something out of ur life!
My word of 2020 is achieve. I really want to achieve and accomplish stuff this year so I thought it would be the perfect word and I love it! at the bottom of this page I just put some stuff I’m excited for this year like maybe meeting my pen pal, my mom having a new baby and our church campout!
Here are my goals! The mountain name is crossed of bc of privacy reasons but its a mountain I live by and it takes about 2-3 hours to hike up. Its only 3 miles but its uphill and I really enjoy hiking it bc its very refreshing and pretty 🙂 I recently hiked it with one of my best friends and we got some really cool pictures and had a TON of fun! And the grade is also crossed off for privacy reasons 🙂 back on topic tho, the rest of my goals are pretty straight forward, I want to get a job and start saving money so I can travel when I’m 30, become more responsible in school and just life in general, make a high school softball team and do good things with my blog! What are some of your goals for this year?
Heres my bucket list!! I haven’t filled it all in yet but I’m going to fill it up thru out the year and yeah, I like it! I really like how its divided into seasons, it helps not just having a mash of things I want to do all year round! I really want to go snowboarding or skiing this year, they both sound so fun but I feel like I would fail epically 😂 we’ll see if it happens!
Next is my book reading page! Last year I made my reading goal 150 books and it was hard but fun! self promo here 😉 -> link to the post about my reading in 2019! So far I’ve read 2 books this year, but I took this picture before I read them 🙂 50 books is definitely do-able so im excited to be more relaxed with reading this year!
This page is actually by the page in the very top picture but oh welp. Idc and i’m to lazy to move it up there 😂 I’ve got the rest of my year at a glance and some important dates where I can put special things that are happening!
Onto January’s layout:
Here is my layout for January! its definitely not my favorite and im not proud of it really but it needed to be done so this is what we got! I still kinda like it and I thought the colors and quote were cute!
Here I have my mood tracker, habit tracker, and sleep tracker squished onto one page! I kept it SUPER simple but I still like it and I think the mood tracker is pretty cute + Ive already had a couple AWESOME days in 2020 so thats super cool! ALSO: my sleep schedule is horrible and im working on it, promise! I can never fall asleep so last night when I couldn’t fall asleep at like 11, I got up and did wall handstands for a while haha, it was entertaining 😂
And that is all for this post! hope u enjoyed! Until next post,
