Enneagram, is it accurate? Collab with Ainsley Beth! *Fist bump*

Hey guys! Today I’m back with a post that I’m super excited for! I reached out to Ainsley from her blog, Ainsley Beth. Ainsley is the sweetest and I love her blog! She has super relatable posts and her aesthetic is EVERYTHING.

Anyways, a while back while scrolling Pinterest, I seen that Ainsley had pinned some enneagram 9 pins and after looking at her boards I found out that she’s an enneagram 9, just like me! I reached out to her through her website and asked her if she would be interested in doing a enneagram 9 assumptions post with me and she agreed! Well, the day is here for our posts to go up and I’m so excited! You can check out Ainsley’s post here.

Anyways, if you dont know what an enneagram is, here’s a quick explanation!

From one point of view, the Enneagram can be seen as a set of nine distinct personality types, with each number on the Enneagram denoting one type. It is common to find a little of yourself in all nine of the types, although one of them should stand out as being closest to yourself. This is your basic personality type.

Type One is principled, purposeful, self-controlled, and perfectionistic.

Type Two is generous, demonstrative, people-pleasing, and possessive.

Type Three is adaptable, excelling, driven, and image-conscious.

Type Four is expressive, dramatic, self-absorbed, and temperamental.

Type Five is perceptive, innovative, secretive, and isolated.

Type Six is engaging, responsible, anxious, and suspicious.

Type Seven is spontaneous, versatile, acquisitive, and scattered.

Type Eight is self-confident, decisive, willful, and confrontational.

Type Nine is receptive, reassuring, complacent, and resigned.

**info from the enneagram institute website, which you can check out here!

So, Ainsley and I are both type 9’s. We both exchanged some assumptions/questions that are generally true about type 9’s and we wanted to see how accurate or how much we relate to the assumptions! Here are the ones Ainsley sent me:

You’re a very genuine person

Ok, so for this one, my answer is: I try to be! Sometime it can be really hard to be completely yourself and I’m also pretty shy and self conscious but I try my best. I hope I’m considered sincere, I would say for the I am and I hope my friends would say the same.

You like naps/sleeping

Ok. YES. Who doesn’t like sleeping 😂 I have to say, I don’t really enjoy naps though. I can never fall asleep during the middle of the day unless we’re on a really long car ride coming back from a weekend of camping. Then I will nap 😉 But usually naps just aren’t my thing. But sleeping is FANTASTIC. I hate waking up in the morning and everyday I wish I could sleep in more than I do haha!

You keep your opinions to yourself

For the most part I do, especially if I don’t know you very well. But if we’re close and I’m comfortable telling you my opinions and I don’t feel like you’ll judge me, I’ll let you know what I think 😉

 You’re creative

Yes! I love being creative! Art is one of my favorites and I love creating things! Sometimes it’s hard to be creative and original but I adore painting, drawing, journaling, pen-paling and just creating things to make the world a better and more beautiful place. Ok, I’ll admit that sounds cheesy but it’s true ✌🏻

You love long talks

YES YES YES. A thousand times yes! Long talks are the best, especially if they’re with someone I love and am really comfortable around! Long night time talks at sleepovers are 10/10 the best.

And that’s that! I feel like I can relate to most of these, which is really cool! I think enneagrams are so neat because it’s so cool to be able to look at your “type” and relate to it and see how it might affect how you think, make decisions and etc.!
I hope you enjoyed this post, lemme know what you think in the comments! I’d love to chat 🙂

Also, thank you so much Ainsley for doing this with me! It was a ton of fun and I really enjoyed it 🙂 ❤

Have you ever took the enneagram test? What enneagram type are you? Can you relate to any of these assumptions? How’s your week going? Happy October!

PenToPaperUS review/snail mail kit! *Jazz hands*

Hello! How are you doing today? I hope you’re doing amazing 🙂

Today, I’m here with another review!

This is one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to show y’all! The wonderful and lovely Dana from her Etsy shop PenToPaperUS kindly sent me a pen pal kit and I adore it!

First of all, Dana was a pleasure to work with, she was so willing to collaborate and sent the product out very fast. Second, the product is amazing!

This is what Dana sent me! Everything was packaged beautifully and it came with such a cute note! I received the jumbo travel kit, which sadly isn’t on her shop right now but there are tons more, and they’re all just as cute!

as a thank you, Dana sent me this and ahhhh it’s so so cute! I can’t wait to use it. Any suggestions on what I should use it for?

Unwrapped out of the tissue paper, here’s the kit!!!!! Doesn’t it just make your inner pen pal heart happy?!

LOOK AT IT. Just take a moment and look. It should make you happy. It made me so happy. The kit included some lined paper, a couple envelopes, a pen, some travel themed cards, a couple travel themed images, a postcard, some washiest tape samples, some little cards and string samples, some paper clips and other clips, a couple little cut outs, and a tea bag. SO MUCH BEAUTIFULNESS 🤩

Next, a closeup of the travel themed images! These are all so cute and they’re perfect for decorating envelopes, using in journals and so much more. I just used the one with all the word to decorate an envelope the other day and I also sent my friend one! I think they are adorable and I love them 🤩

I received this super cool looking pen also, and I know this is a little weird to note but it’s such good quality! It’s made of like metal and so it’s really heavy duty feeling.

Last but not least, here’s a closer picture of some of the “accessories”! We’ve got these ADORABLE little tags which are so handy for washi tape samples and some paper clips and plain clips. Theres also two string samples which are really fun, I’ve never done this before! And the LITTLE ENVELOPE 🥰 Isn’t it the cutest?!

that’s all! I adore this kit, and I give it a 10/10. Everything is really good quality, which is a huge plus and the kit is really affordable. Make sure to go check out dana’s shop, she’s the sweetest and I love the reason why she started her shop ❤

Check out Dana’s shop here!

Thank you so so much Dana, for agreeing to collaborate with me, I appreciate it so much!

anyways, that’s all for today! I hope you have a lovely day and I hope you enjoyed this post!

Have you ever bought a pen pal kit? Do you have an Etsy shop? What’s your favorite cake flavor? Do you like grapes? Chat with me in the comments, I’d love to talk ❤

Review of snail mail kit from peachandpoppyco + pen pal with me! *Spins in a circle*

Hello beautiful people! How are you doing today? I’m doing well and I hope the same for you 🙂

Today I have an exciting post for you all- a review of a lovely product from Megan’s Etsy shop, peachandpoppyco!

edit/update: I’ve used this product a lot more now ( 5/24/19), and can officially say: IM IN LOVE. It’s so handy and cute and my kit is almost gone and I may have to buy another soon 🙂

I recently reached out to Megan on Etsy, not realizing/processing that I followed her blog and when she replied she mentioned that she also blogged and I was like, “oh! I do know you then!” 🙂 Anyways, I reached out to Megan to see if she would be interested in sending me a product to review and she kindly agreed! So I want to give a big thanks to her, Thank you so much for sending me a product to review and for being so willing and helpful in this collaboration! Megan is so sweet and her Etsy shop is full of adorable snail mail and pen-paling things, I wish I could buy it all! Make sure to check out her shop right here! Now onto the review!

I received this snail mail/pen paling kit and it is the Travel Snail Mail Kit which is absolutely my favorite. I love the aesthetics and ahhh the traveling vibe is so cute and I overall love it. The kit includes 12 stationary sheets, 1 sticker sheet, 4 envelopes, 2 rolls of Washi tape, 4 cutouts, and 3 postcards.

Isn’t it all so cute?! Just looking at it makes me happy xD

I especially love the vintage-y looking postcards, they’re so aesthetic and pretty and vintage. so duh. They’re pretty cool. The Washi tape is really cool because I don’t have enough Washi tape so I was super pleased to get more! And I love the cut-outs and stickers, super cute and I love sticking them on envelopes and letters!

The packaging was so cute, and everything was packaged very nicely. The package had this sticker on the back which is adorable and I just needed to show you because I love it so much! I kinda want to peel this off and re-use it on a envelope ;)))

Anyways, to review them, I decided to do a pen-pal with me type post, so here is what I sent to my friend, Sydney!

These cutouts are some of my favorite things, I glued them onto some envelopes and I thought they turned out quite cute! They would also be fun to stick in envelopes.

To decorate her envelope I added some Washi tape and I glued one of the cutouts in the corner and I thought it turned out super cute! Also I covered the address with a piece of paper because ummm private info xD

I wrote Sydney a letter using the adorable stationary and then I also sent her some dried flowers in a small bag I made, which was not included in the kit. I did use the Washi tape from the kit to decorate the bag!

On the back of then envelope I used some more Washi tape ( can u tell I love that stuff xD) and I also used a sticker to add some cuteness 🙂 I labeled it quarantine mail because I know Sydney in real life, she lives like 20 minutes away from me, but we’ve been sending each other mail during the quarantine, which has been quite fun!

My rating: ★★★★★

Pros: I love how almost everything is included that you need to write a letter/ it shipped extremely fast-only 2 days!/ it’s all adorable and super aesthetically pleasing/ Megan is so sweet and a gem to work with/ overall it’s beautiful 🙂

Cons: The price was a little to much for me, but I’m also a cheap skate so I don’t know. and that’s all.

Update on Cons: I don’t think its actually that expensive when you compare how much the envelopes and Washi tape and postcards and such would cost individually so I’m going to reevaluate and say, there’s no cons. So go buy this kit. Because it is awesome 🙂

Make sure to go check out Megans shop right here! It’s lovely, isn’t it? Again, thank you so much to Megan for being willing to work with me, I appreciate it more than you know and I hope you all have a lovely day!

How are you? Are you enjoying my letter writing/ pen-pal posts? Should I do more? Have you ever gotten something from Megans shop? What’s your favorite flavor of icecream? Talk to me in the comments, I’d love to chat!

xx, Jasmin
