Hello Lovelies! I think I need an award for latest monthly wrap up but oh well, at least I’m getting to it.
I apologize for not posting more, I have so many ideas but evrytime I sit down at my computer to write, boom. All the ideas flurry away and I’m left with a blank and un-motivated mind. This blog isn’t something I want to force myself to do though, so I’m trying not to pressure myself into writing/posting when I’m not feeling up to it mentally. So I hope to soon be posting more routinely, but for now I’m trying my best to just get what I can out and posted and I hope you will stick around! Thank you so much for reading my little rant, now let me actually continue on with this post, a little wrap up of January 2021!
I’m going to change up my monthly wrap up a little, making it a bit simpler. I’m going to state some of my favorite memories and then add 15-20 pictures to my post as hopefully a way to help me look back in upcoming years and help me remember the good of the years! Anyways let’s get onto it!
Memories of January:
Hung out with my neighbors, aka some of my best friends, a TONNN. I seen them everyday of the week for a point this month and it was a complete blast. I think we’re unhealthily weird and random but that’s part of the fun xD Some of my favorite memories with them are wearing drippy hats, making coffees, and screaming ‘Train Wreck’ and ‘Story of My Life’ at the top of our lungs.
Got our nails done and drove around to get free coffees for my friends bday, it was so fun!
I successfully got all my hours of driving with my permit accounted for, finishing up with a 2 and a half hour drive in the dark. and in the rain. On the freeway. Let’s just say I had a stress headache when we got home but I survived and we didn’t crash and now I’ve reached all my requirements for my license!
I signed up to play slow pitch softball at our local high school which is exciting but also terrrifyinggggg. I’ve been homeschooled my whole life and have never stepped foot onto the high school grounds so i’m really lost but I’m slowly adjusting! We also have to wear masks 24/7 while at the school which is something I’m willing to do to play softball but I will say, running in a mask is not a vibe. Not a vibe.
Got up at 5:00 a.m. to watch the sunrise with my neighbors and had a bit of difficulties but still ended up having a grand time!
Drank lots of coffee as per usual.
My mom cut me curtain bangs because lately I’ve been realizing that this life is temporary, half the decisions you make won’t change a lot of your overall story and just go for it. I’ve been embracing being spontaneous and just living a good life and its pretty nice ngl.
My neighbors and I started the year off on our right foot, literally. So we’ll see if that helps this year go better than ahem. our um. other year. *Cough…2020…cough*
My sister and I also worked for my dad for a couple Saturdays installing flooring which was nice! I didn’t love the work but I liked the money so I kept at it 😉
We got a tiny tiny bit of snow but sledding it it was amazingly fun xD
we fed cows for my grandpa, day and night because he had shoulder surgery and can’t use his arm for a while. The cows started having calfs and they’re the cutest!
okay that wraps up memories, now enjoy some pictures!
and I’ll end this post here. Hope you enjoyed ❤
Have a lovely day! How was ur January? Best part of today? Favorite meal of the day? I like lunch the most because I’m never hungry in the morning but breakfast food is amazing!
Hello beautiful people! How are you on this fine day? I’m doing quite good, today was a good day for me 🙂 Don’t you love those kind of days? I do :))
Anyways, todays post is going to be a chatty rambling post about, well, my life lately. I feel like everyone’s lives have been a bit crazy and un-normal and mines been the same. I’ve kind of gotten back into a schedule but its definitely different.
I’ve been hanging out with friends a lot, almost to much and it feels like I’ve been SO. busy. Which, don’t get me wrong is ah-mazing, but it leaves me feeling worn out and exhausted. My introvert part of my ambivert personality begins to shine through 😉
I’ve realized that I really love spontaneous-ness. I don’t know if that is a word but I love it. I’m currently really into the “be in the moment, don’t let the small things matter, remember the good vibes, etc.” stuff right now.
Pretty dresses with long grassy fields and Pinterest photo ideas is always a fun time. I wanted to have a photoshoot so my sister was kind and let me photograph her! I adore how the photos turned out, the boho vibes make me happy 🙂
A spontaneous drive with no real destination and only a goal of getting some cute pictures was one of my favorite experiences in June. We had a minor mishap later on that drive but we won’t talk about it ;). It’s all good.
Quotes. Sometimes at night I like to just look at Pinterest and find quotes that say things that I would say but I can’t put it as right. This quote above is so simple and basic yet so profound to me, I absolutely love it. If you have any amazing quotes you want to share, let me know in the comments, I absolutely love quotes and poems and such.
Tucker boy and his big grins 😍 They make me so happy *heart eyes x a million* He’s now starting to smile more and it’s the sweetest thing ever. Tucker’s doing good, he’s growing and gaining quickly, he now weighs almost 10 pounds!
Gathering around a campfire and playing games or even just visiting is such a underrated thing. I could do it every night. Especially if there’s Reeses cups s’mores 😁 Those things are literally the best, if you haven’t tried it, please do. Unless of course you’re allergic to peanuts or other ingredients. But if not- 😁
living the life.
A hammock=one of the best inventions ever!!
Iced coffee= deliciousness in a cup
sunny weather with a slight breeze=actual heaven
This life is a blessing guys 🤩
when you go to the post office and you get 5 letters AND an amazon package. Y’all I’m blessed. I was beaming all day and I spent a 30 minute car ride opening mail. THE WHOLE RIDE. It was so cool 😁
I wasted $6 on a coffe. But was it worth. it? Oh yeah 😁 Plus, memories were made and we got to mark it off our bucket list so boo-yah! okay that was cringe, forget I said that please.
I also finished drivers ed and next week (hopefully) I’ll be off to get my permit! I cant wait and prayers that I’m a good driver would be appreciated 😁
And that is all for this post! How was your June and how is you July going? Have you ever tried a Reeses cup s’more? Any quotes for me? Are spontaneous outings a yes or a no go for you? Talk to me in the comments, I’d love to chat! ❤️
Hey hey. How are u guys? I’m good 🙂 Well, relatively good. I’m not bad but I’m kind of done with this whole corona-quarantine-social-distancing thing. I get why we’re doing it, I would hate for more people to get corona and all the families with sick people are in my prayers. With that being said though, I believe that the media has over-exaggerated this and I don’t know if it’s as bad as they say. In all honesty, I don’t know. I don’t know how this is gonna end. I don’t know how it started. I don’t know what to think of the ordeal. I don’t know. But the good thing is that God knows. And He is holding us all in his hands. So I’m trusting in Him and hoping and praying and crossing my fingers that this pandemic ends soon. What are your thoughts on the COVID-19 ordeal?
Well anyways, another month passed by, and I’m just standing here. with my mouth wide open. Like “How?!?” March went so slowly yet so quickly! So many changes. So many new things!
I started my 3-month journey of being gluten free. As I explained in my last monthly update, (read it here) I have to go gluten free for three months. I started in march and so far, it’s not horrible. If you know me, ya know that I LOVE gluten. bread is one of the best inventions ever in my opinion. I love the stuff. But I found a decent brand of gluten free bread, and I’ve got good gf flour and Chick-fil-a has gluten free buns so we’re good 😉 The main time when I’m remorseful about being gluten free is when everyone else is eating gluten and I can’t. And then it gets depressing. But luckily it doesn’t happen all the time. So yeah, That’s the update. I’ve made some good gluten free cookies so maybe I’ll have to do a recipe post soon 🙂
We went to our first (and maybe last) garage/yard sale of the season. I’m big on thrifting so goodwill and garage sales are amazing. I love the deals you can find and it makes you feel so (ummmm idk the word) good? It makes me happy. The garage sale we went to was really good and I found some stuff I love!
I went to my friends for a weekend sleepover and it was SO FUN. We watched Jumanji 1+2, ate ice cream, stayed up late, talked for hours, ate food, went shopping, drank coffee, and tried on crazy and cute clothes. It was an amazing weekend and I’m so happy to have met these new friends 🙂 Smiles at u guys if ur reading this :)))
My protocol event for school happened. It was fun! We had a jewel heist dinner thing and it was a lot of fun. All of us girls got together and got ready and then we went and took picture (which sadly I cant share bc FACES and PRIVACY) and then we went to the dinner. It was super fun and I cant wait to do it again next year if we do CC!
Basically everything in my life was canceled and we are on quarantine. The thing I was most disappointed about it being canceled was my softball season. As of right now, it’s not canceled but they’re doing a evaluation on the 6th and we’re social distancing until the 30th at least so there’s like a .1 % chance of us actually getting to play the season :(( Another thing that I was disappointed about the cancelation was our co-op. We’re doing zoom meetings online but its a lot less fun and doesn’t really motivate me as much as in-person classes. But my next debate is next week so please pray for me 🙂 It’s against the electoral college and I am STRESSED.
My sister and I had a painting day, and we made a bunch of little inspirational watercolor card things to stick in letters and such. I loved how they turned out! We painted for about 3-4 hours and I ended up with about 40 cards (not counting my sisters) I think they’re quite adorable though, and I’ve now hung them on my wall 🙂
drank coffee, read books, and made collages. With quarantine and everything, I’ve had some spare time on my hands so I’ve been reading, drinking coffee, and making collages. Highly recommend all three of the above activities.
And to finish off this post, a meme and a quote:
And thats all for this post! Sorry it was kind of short, March was a pretty messed up month for me, but wasn’t it for us all? Hope you enjoyed and happy April! 2020 is officially 1/4 of the way done-thats terrifying and exciting? How was your march? How are u doing with COVID-19? I hope your all well, stay safe ❤️
Hey guys! How have u been? I can NOT believe January (aka the first month of 2020) is almost over?! Like how?! It seems like it flew by but also like time passed sooooooo slowly xD. 2020 is now 1/12 of the way over *wipes away tears* Just kidding, but it’s sad how quickly the years go by as you get older and I’m not even THAT old yet 😀 January was a good month for me, getting back in the groove of school ( ughhhh, more on that later), Trying to keep up in my goals and resolutions and just living life has kept me busy!
Things that happened in January:
∙Went to a Hotel with some good friends for their birthdays and it was a BLAST. I had so so much fun ahhhhh it was amazing :))
∙Drank lots of tea, like I mean LOTS. My mom got me 60 packs of pomegranate pizzaz tea for Christmas and so far I’ve only made a small dent in the pile of tea bags but I’ve drank a good 20 cups xD
∙ Found out what my Mom is having! Little backstory, we found out my Mom was pregnant in November and she’s due at the end of May! This is the last kid she wants to have (6 is a lot xD) and it’ll make us a family of 8, including our parents and the new baby!! So any who, we found out what she’s having!! Can u guess? Ok, enough suspense… My mom is having a:
BOY!!!!!!!!! Yay! I’m excited but I didn’t realize how much I wanted a girl until she told us 😂 Don’t get me wrong, I’m still super excited but baby girls wear dresses and bows in their hair annnddddd their just sooo cute but I’M EXCITED! My little sister REALLY wanted a girl and when she found out it was a boy she cried for a good 10 minutes 😂 Now she’s warmed up to the idea and she can’t wait to hold her baby brother!
∙ We got our first real snow of the winter and the first snow of the year! We ended up getting about 3 inches over about 4 days, but we were excited and extremely thankful for the snow we got bc none of our friends in town got much snow 😦 We went sledding and snowmobiling (until the snow mobile broke:(() and enjoyed the cold weather. Now we’re back to 47 degrees with rain and cloudy skies 😦
∙ Found a lot of good memes xD. I’m in a group chat with like 15 ppl from my co-op and basically all we do it send memes 😂 So every once in a while I have to go on Pinterest and stock up haha, its fun tho xD
∙Started school again. I’m now in second semester and the work load is pretty light as I’m just starting a couple new subjects! My two new subjects are economy and Drama, and I’m enjoying both of them so far! For Drama we’re reading The Taming of The Shrew which is by Shakespeare. At first I wasn’t really excited but I’m so far really enjoying it, My teacher is reading us the play and its in English and not all Shakespeare-y and then later in the year we’re gonna tackle the actual play, wish me luck lol 😂 For economics, we’re playing a game in market watch and investing in stock with fake money ( it’s a simulation) but yeah, I’m in first place out of my class so that’s exciting! Later this semester we’re doing an experiment where we find jobs we might like to do and places we would like to rent and basically we calculate how much it would cost for us to live when we’re 23 years old! I’m excited for that project, it sounds fun!
∙ Had a mental break down in the mall. Whew that was fun. But life ain’t all sunshine’s and rainbows kids xD I’ll spare u the deets but basically I’m self conscious about how I look and it’s hard shopping in stores where everything/a lot of things are made to fit a certain body type and that’s not ur body type. Love urself guys, it’s important.
∙ I signed up for a softball team! Now just crossing my fingers there’s enough girls to make a team for my age bracket. One of the perks of playing on this team is my sister gets to play with me and so do two of my awesome friends so we’re all super excited!
∙ got in a fight with a friend, didn’t talk for a while and then I called and apologized. I feel like I put 80% of the effort in that friendship tho so it’s tough. I don’t want to be petty but friendship is a two way road. I still love u if ur reading this 😂❤️
∙ ate a TON of good food. Food is actually life. Like without it we would die. And it’s a huge plus when that food is delicious.
∙ Did quite a bit of baking. I made mini chocolate chip scones, egg muffins and fried cheese sticks. Yum :)) Would u guys like to see a recipe post? I need to get into baking more, it’s so cool to be able to make something that makes ppl happy 😂👌
∙ read quite a few books, my goal for the year is 50 and I’m already 1/5 of the way there but it’s fineeee. I’ve been enjoying my books 🙂
∙ blogged pretty consistently. I mean, I kinda slacked in the middle of January but I think I got my five posts up! So pat myself on the back for not failing. Woo. That was unenthusiastic 😦 WOO WOO!!!!! That’s better 😀
Ok that’s the basics of what I did in January. Now enjoy some pictures with maybe a little context 😀
And that is all for this month in review!
Hope you enjoyed! How was your January? Did you do anything amazing? Anything awesome happening in February? My Birthdays in the end of February so I’m excited for that! Talk to me in the comments, I love hearing from you!
