DIY Pen-pal pocket envelope *hurries to make more*

Hello! How are you today? Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

Today I’m back with a super fun post, that includes pen-paling so it’s gotta be awesome! I’ve been having a ton of fun sending out (and receiving) Christmas themed mail and although this isn’t Christmas themed, you can definitely make it more festive! Anyways, I got the idea for this from a collaboration I did this summer with the lovely Karen from her Etsy shop, HanjiKraft. The Inso for this project came from her happy mail kit she sent me and I absolutely loved hers so I decided I wanted to try it myself! Here’s a link to my post I did about her product, just in case you missed it 🙂 Anyways, I figured this would be a fun post and I hope you enjoy it! Let’s begin!

Supplies!

  • 2 envelopes, that are the same size and shape
  • washi tape
  • some fun patterned paper and ephemera
  • scissors
  • glue

So, first step. Take two of the same envelopes, make sure they’re the same size!

Now, cut off the flaps on both envelopes. I know, I know. If you’re any bit like me and treasure each and every envelope, this part can be a bit sad. But I promise the end result is worth it!

Now, tape the envelopes together with the pockets showing face up, so it can fold like a card! I taped both sides, the inside and out and I just taped it with a cute washi tape!

Next, grab that cute paper and ephemera I mentioned in the supplies list and flip over and fold your envelope pocket. Tape or glue the paper like a college on the fun part, sticking whatever you want, wherever you want! This is the real fun part, be creative!

Ta-da!!! Here’s how mine turned out, I really really like it 🤩 I also used a white gel pen to create the dots on the back of the envelope, just to add a special unique touch. And that’s all! What’d you think? I love how this turned out and it’s so so cute and easy, literally only took me like 15-20 minutes to make and now I have a cute little envelope pocket thing to stick in a letter! It’s also super fun to fill up the pockets on both sides with your letter and extra goodies and etc. All around just a fun little diy!

And that’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed, and let me know in the comments what you thought of this post! I had a lot of fun creating this, DIY penpal stuff is always so fun to craft and create ❤

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for reading, it means the most 💛

HanjiKraft happy mail surprise kit review. *my socks are blown off*

Hello my lovelies! Today I’m back with another review, and believe me, this is a good one! If you’re anything like me and have a huge obsession with anything pen-pal-y, snail mail-ish or stationary things, then you’ll love this. The sweetest girl, Karen Kim, over at her Etsy shop: HanjiKraft, sent me some of her beautiful products and I could talk about them forever. and ever and ever. First of all, let’s get this straight: I have only good things to say.

Karen was the sweetest to work with, super fast with shipping and replying, very good at communicating and really generous and kind. I recommend her shop so much, and all the products are wonderful quality.

Now, instead of listening to me rant about how much I love the stuff, I’ll show you it.

Warning: It’s pretty awesome and you’re going to want to go buy it so be ready with your money 😉

First off: WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT PACKAGING?! *Heart eyes for years* It’s so gorgeous and perfect and I wish I could package stuff this perfectly!

Karen sent me this adorable little keychain that so reminds me of myself and it says “hahahahahahahhahahahanope.” It’s absolutely adorable and so super handy for clipping onto your purse or backpack!

SO. CUTE.

When you open the larger package, this is what you pull out. *Internal happy squeals* It’s so so so so beautiful; it just makes my inner pen-pal-er so happy 🤩

And guys. Get this: the whole time I was opening this I was just like “wow okay. ahhhh it is so pretty!!!!! AHHH!!! SO PRETTY! Like howwww… awwwww! I can’t even”

So in the above picture shows an adorable notebook and the hello friend thing is actually like this envelope and it unfolds and inside it has MORE STUFF 🥰

When you unfold the envelope thing, inside it had some lovely plant stickers and an adorable little envelope full of what is labeled as “bits and pieces” and girllll it’s almost the best part of the package!

Inside the “bit’s and pieces” envelope, there’s lots of stickers, cut-outs, mini envelopes, and stamps <333 Lot’s and lots of little epic things 🙂 I was grinning so big while opening this ❤

Last but not least, we have some paper ephemera!! I received some old book pages, some cute tissue paper, and more 🤩

And that’s it for this review! Please please go check out Karen’s shop, it’s so adorable and the prices are so good for all that you get! If you struggle sometimes with decorating envelopes or making your snail mail cute, then this is definitely a shop to check out!

Thank you once again to Karen for sending me something from her shop, she’s an angel!

I hope you enjoyed! What is your favorite part of this post? Do you snail mail/pen pal? How’s your day going? I hope it is going great 🙂 And talk to me in the comments, I’d love to chat!

Bea co. paper review ft. cute cards and postcards *jumps up and down*

Hello lovelies! How are you today? I hope you’re doing absolutely fabulous 🙂

Today, I’m back with another review and GUYS. These paper products, from Bea over at Beacopaper, have stolen my heart and I love them. They’re amazing, so cute and made of amazing quality! Read on to get my full opinion…

First off, we’ve got these lovely postcards! Postcards are my favorite, I love how simple these ones are and how minimalistic and gorgeous they are 🤩 All of the peach products from Bea’s shop are my favorites, and this peach postcard is no exception. The postcards themselves are made of really thick paper and don’t bend easily which is a big plus, especially since they don’t go in envelopes. Usually anyways 😉 AND THE DESIGNS 🥰

Simple and minimalistic but handy, here are the backs of the postcards! I like how they have lines for you to write the address, sometimes when the postcards don’t have those the writing gets crooked 😦

Bea also sent me this super cute and functional watermelon pin, which is adorable 🍉 Watermelon is so cute and so good to eat, just thinking about it makes me want some 😉 This pin would be really cute to stick in a watermelon themed pen-pal envelope, or on a cute backpack with a couple other pins pinned around it!

Next, we have these ADORABLE cards 🤩 I love cards because then you don’t have to write a whole letter, you can just fill up the card and not feel bad. ;)) Or if you have a lot to write, you can write smaller and fit a lot on the card. These cards are the perfect size in my opinion, I love them. Not too small and not too big.

As you can probably imagine, the peach one is my favorite, I love it. The cards are made of the same thick paper that the postcards are made of and they come with the cute brown envelopes which are so aesthetic! I love them 🙂

If you couldn’t tell, I adore these products and I highly recommend buying them. They are priced really reasonably and the quality is wonderful. Bea is also a dream to work with, she’s so sweet and shipped the products out so quickly! Overall I loved these ❤

Thats all for today! I hope you enjoyed 🙂 Let me know if you’ve ever bought something from Bea’s shop, or if you plan too! I would recommend it 10/10 😉

Have a beautiful day and remember your wonderful and amazing ❤

The Homebody Society review ft. the most adorable stamps *waves the stamps around excitedly*

Hello beautiful people! How are you doing today? I hope you’re doing wonderfully 🙂

Today I’m back with another review! The wonderful Kelly from her adorable Etsy shop kindly agreed to send me some of her handy products to review! While scrolling Etsy looking for fun pen-pal products to buy, (because I definitely need more pen-paling supplies, don’t you agree?!) I found Kelly’s shop. It’s called The Homebody Society and the stamps are AMAZING. Stamps are awesome in my opinion because they’re so easy to use, they’re a one time buy as in you buy the stamp and some ink and you don’t have to keep re-buying them like some other pen-pal supplies, and they’re can be so simple or intricate-depending on the one you chose! Kelly’s shop is full of lovely stamps that range from ones you can personalize to snail mail ones and even stamps to customize and stamp your books with like this adorable one right here!!

These right here are the lovely stamps Kelly sent me to review! Aren’t they adorable?! I’ve currently been obsessed with them and I’m stamping them on literally EVERY letter I send out 🤩. I can’t choose a favorite but I love them both dearly, and I love how they’re so easy!

Which is your favorite? I know I said I couldn’t pick favorites but I actually might like the sent with love one better xD! I love both of them so much though :)))

Stamping the stamps onto an envelope went smoothly, the only thing I struggled with was getting them stamped on straight xD. I love how they look!

The stamps also came with this really helpful piece of paper that gives tips and tricks for using your stamps so I really appreciated this! I bought myself this StazOn ink pad off of amazon and I have literally no complaints. It even smells good 😂

Last but not least!!! Kelly, being the angel she is, also gave me a 10% off code for you guys to use when you order something from her shop!!!

The code is: THANKYOU10

Make sure to check out Kellys shop, she has some wonderful products!

With all that being said, that is all for this review! Sorry for not posting lately, I’m currently doing confirmation classes and working on getting confirmed to my church so I’ve been extremely busy. I’m hoping to get a bunch more posts up soon though and I also want ti take some time to read some of your lovely posts that I’ve been missing 🙂

Once again, Thank you SO SO much Kelly for sending me these stamps to review, I’m forever grateful ❤️ Make sure to check out her shop lovelies, it won’t disappoint :))

What stamp do you like best? Do you pen-pal? How’s your July going? I hope it’s fabulous! Thank you so much for reading and talk to me in the comments, I’d love to chat 💓
