About the Author

Hello beautiful people 🙂 How are you doing on a fine day like this? I hope it’s been a wonderful day and I hope it continues that way, my day has been quite good! Ofc everyday isn’t awesome but making the most of it is a big part of my mentality.

My name’s Jasmin. Hi! Hello there. I hope you’re doing amazing.

I’m a teen girl from the US who is shy, awkward, and an ambirvert. I don’t know how to introduce myself. I have a wide variety of things I love that include but are not limited to:

My friends and Family. My God and Creator of the universe. Pen-paling. Bullet journaling. Playing softball and being on a team. My homeschool co-op. Blogging. Food. Pizza especially. Artsy things. Pinterest. Oversized t-shirts and jeans. sneakers and Birkenstocks. The successful feeling you get when you use up leftovers. gluten. ice cream. handshakes and hugs. where I live. traveling. Pretty views.

I blog about a wide variety of things including but also am not limited to: my lifestyle. bullet journaling. pen-paling. reviews. diys. artsy things. and much more.

I’ve been blogging for about a little over half a year now and I love it, all the bloggers I’ve “met” are amazing ❤️

Let’s expand a little on my interests now, shall we?

My friends and family: I love my friends dearly and they’re a huge-mongo part of my life, just like my family. I come from a family of 7, but my mom is currently due to have another baby boy any day now (5/29/20) I also love my sibling and parents dearly.

My God and creator of the universe: I am a Christian. I believe that God created the world and that we all sin but God sent His son Jesus to save us. So thank you Lord ❤️ My favorite Bible chapter is 1 Corinthians 13, I love the whole chapter!

Bullet journaling and pen-paling: two of my main focuses on this blog. I love both of these hobbies and they consume a bit of my time!

My homeschool co-op: I’m homeschooled, never been to public school. I’m currently in high school and we just started a new co-op last year called Classical Conversations (CC) and I’m loving it.

Food: I’m a big foodie, if you want to obsess with me about food, hit me up in the comments. Food is literally life, it keeps us alive and it’s delicious. most of the time anyways.

Im also a professional running-sentences creator: I probably should have an award for that by now. Also I don’t usually spell check so sorry about that.

That’s a little about me! thank you for reading and make sure to comment down below so we can become blogging besties!

xx, Jasmin

  1. Hey Jasmin! I like your blog!
I am homeschooled as well and I used to do C.C. too! What class are you in? When I stopped I was in Challenge B. The Latin get’s REALLY intense as you progress in the curriculum! It’s great you are so vocal about your faith, what exactly do you believe?

    1. Hey! Thank you! Ah that’s awesome! I’m not allowed to say what class exactly I’m in, but I’m doing a challenge class 🙂 And YES I agree, Latin is rough! I only started CC last year but I’m hoping this year I can really nail down latin and get the hang of it.
Thank you! I want to tell people what I believe and about Jesus and what better way to do that then on my blog? I’m a Christian and I believe that God made heaven and earth, and all that is in them. I believe that He sent his only Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ to save us and I believe in the Holy Ghost. I attend an Apostolic Lutheran church . Do you have any specific questions about what I believe? Hope that answers some of your question 🙂
Thanks for checking out my blog!

      1. Thanks for responding,
No, I don’t have any specific questions about your faith, your response was good and I don’t disagree with anything you typed.
Only, I know that you attend a Apostolic Lutheran church, but do you believe exactly what they believe? What sets you apart from other believers?

      2. No problem 🙂 So usually I agree with everything that the church believes, but as I went through confirmation this summer I found one thing that I disagreed with the pastor on. I don’t know what the church doctrine or whatever fully believes on the subject but the pastor of my church doesn’t believe in a second baptism. Which to a point I agree with, I think if you’re baptized as an infant, you grow up, leave the faith and then later return, I don’t think you have to be baptized again to be saved. But, I do believe that if you need to be baptized again for personal reasons, like if your personal convictions are that you really want to be baptized again, I don’t think thats wrong. It’s all about situation and circumstance honestly and what God is telling you. What set’s us apart from other believers… well we take communion and we believe the bread and wine ARE the body and blood of Jesus. We don’t differ a huge amount from other believers in my opinion, not on the large things that actually matter. In my opinion anyways. Hope that answered your question some 🙂

      3. Yes, that answered my question, thanks!
Though, I don’t understand how you could think that eating the flesh and drinking the blood of God would be okay! What is your reasoning?

      4. I’m glad 🙂
        Luke 22:19-20 KJV says:
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
So basically, Jesus is telling us to remember Him by taking communion. The Roman Catholic Church believes that when you take communion, the wine and the wafer are “transformed” (by something the priest says) into the body and blood. Baptist churches believe that the wine and wafer “represent” the body and blood. And we believe that the wine and wafer ARE the blood are wine, because it is written ” This IS my body” and “This cup that is poured out for you IS the new testament in my blood”
What kind of church do you go to? Do you take communion?

      5. Yes, I recognize the verse. But how could Jesus, the Son of God, ask believers to do the exact thing that His Father said not to do? He would be contradicting Himself, would He not?

      6. Hey Jasmin! How are you?
I was just checking my Reader conversations and I found this convo in the list!
Are you still doing C.C. in your state?
Hey, have you studied more on the topic of whether the wine and bread are literally the blood and and body of Christ? What have you concluded?

      7. Hello! I’m good, how have you been?
Yep, still doing CC. I think we’re planning on doing something new next year because the work load has been really heavy this year and my sister and I who are in challenge have been really stressed. But we’re finishing up this school year 🙂
Yes I’ve been studying more on that! I’ve decided that personally I think it represents the body and blood of Jesus. I don’t think that when Jesus broke bread and gave it to the disciples at the last supper that it was actually His body and His blood. But I think it represents and serves as a reminder to us to remember that Christ died for us on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven.
Thanks for prompting this discussion and studying, I’m grateful for being able to look into this more!

      8. Oh, 🤦‍♂️
I forgot to answer your question on how I have been!
Anyway, the answer is “Yes!” Crazy as the world has been, there have been some advantages of the past year; and besides that, I am still living so that’s great!
It’s been up and down…but overall, it’s been great!

    1. I’ve gotten all my pen-pals through family, church, or friends who know people who would like to write to me! But I also know a lot of people will find pen-pals through blogging and social media! I’m not allowed to give my address to ppl online though so I just find people through other people I know! Have you ever had a penpal? 😂

I also love Christmas, writing letters, photography, my youth group (Does that go with youth camp?), snow, riding horses, sunrises, basically anything you said you like!😊

    1. Ahh that’s so cool!! YESSS the dentist is horrible! I agree, pen-pals are so fun! Currently I probably have around 11 but only 4 are really consistent! Awwww I bet youth camp is fun, I love our youth camp, I wish we had a youth group to but not yet! Hahah that’s so awesome! It’ll be fun to support each others blogs then! 💕

      1. 😀💗 Wow! I can’t believe you have eleven pen pals! It’s sad that only four write more often. All of my pen pals are consistent. One of my pen pals and I just had our one year pen pal anniversary! I hope you have a great day!
