HanjiKraft happy mail surprise kit review. *my socks are blown off*

Hello my lovelies! Today I’m back with another review, and believe me, this is a good one! If you’re anything like me and have a huge obsession with anything pen-pal-y, snail mail-ish or stationary things, then you’ll love this. The sweetest girl, Karen Kim, over at her Etsy shop: HanjiKraft, sent me some of her beautiful products and I could talk about them forever. and ever and ever. First of all, let’s get this straight: I have only good things to say.

Karen was the sweetest to work with, super fast with shipping and replying, very good at communicating and really generous and kind. I recommend her shop so much, and all the products are wonderful quality.

Now, instead of listening to me rant about how much I love the stuff, I’ll show you it.

Warning: It’s pretty awesome and you’re going to want to go buy it so be ready with your money 😉

First off: WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT PACKAGING?! *Heart eyes for years* It’s so gorgeous and perfect and I wish I could package stuff this perfectly!

Karen sent me this adorable little keychain that so reminds me of myself and it says “hahahahahahahhahahahanope.” It’s absolutely adorable and so super handy for clipping onto your purse or backpack!

SO. CUTE.

When you open the larger package, this is what you pull out. *Internal happy squeals* It’s so so so so beautiful; it just makes my inner pen-pal-er so happy 🤩

And guys. Get this: the whole time I was opening this I was just like “wow okay. ahhhh it is so pretty!!!!! AHHH!!! SO PRETTY! Like howwww… awwwww! I can’t even”

So in the above picture shows an adorable notebook and the hello friend thing is actually like this envelope and it unfolds and inside it has MORE STUFF 🥰

When you unfold the envelope thing, inside it had some lovely plant stickers and an adorable little envelope full of what is labeled as “bits and pieces” and girllll it’s almost the best part of the package!

Inside the “bit’s and pieces” envelope, there’s lots of stickers, cut-outs, mini envelopes, and stamps <333 Lot’s and lots of little epic things 🙂 I was grinning so big while opening this ❤

Last but not least, we have some paper ephemera!! I received some old book pages, some cute tissue paper, and more 🤩

And that’s it for this review! Please please go check out Karen’s shop, it’s so adorable and the prices are so good for all that you get! If you struggle sometimes with decorating envelopes or making your snail mail cute, then this is definitely a shop to check out!

Thank you once again to Karen for sending me something from her shop, she’s an angel!

I hope you enjoyed! What is your favorite part of this post? Do you snail mail/pen pal? How’s your day going? I hope it is going great 🙂 And talk to me in the comments, I’d love to chat!

My favorite things tag! ft. lots of happy things *smiles*

Hello wonderful human! I hope your day is going as amazing and you are. Please remember you’re loved and valued.

Today, Liberty from over at her blog: The Elegant Cowgirl tagged me for the “My Favorite Things” tag!! I’m so glad she tagged me so thank you so much, Liberty!

The rules:

•Thank and link back to the person’s blog who tagged you! Liberty, thank you so much for tagging me! I had seen this tag floating around and it looked fun so I was hoping I’d get tagged somewhere along the line 😉 So thanks! •Thank and link back to the person’s blog who started the tag! (aka Beth at Beth in Boots if I did my research correctly haha! Thank you for creating this tag, it’s super fun <3) •Write about eight of your favorite things in your post! •Add at least 2 pictures or gifs in your post that is related to your favorite things. •Tag eight people at least! (If you don’t know eight blogs to tag just tag as many as you can) •Put the eight rules in your blog post! •Include the picture above for the beginning of your post! •Have fun!!!

Okay, onto the post! Here are eight of my favorite things, and just for fun, since its summer right now, I’m going to do 8 of my favorites from this summer/recently! Now, let’s go!

  1. Coffee

Coffee. Enough said 😉 But I’ll expand, just for you and because I want to. This summer I became WAY to addicted to coffee, I’ve started drinking coffee once and sometimes even twice a day 😳 This summer we’ve been making cold brew and it’s so good *yummm* What kind of coffee do you like?

2. Sunflowers

Sunflowers. are. so. cool. 🤩 This summer some person that lives by us decided to host a sunflower festival and it was so cool! I ended up going twice with my friends and it was loads of fun! I even got some really cute sunflower socks to wear with my birks and I love them 🙂 What’s your favorite kind of flower?

3. Confirmation

I went through confirmation this summer to be confirmed to my church and it was all around a great experience. I learned a ton, met some new people and had a great time ❤ I had classes for two weeks, get togethers/parties and it was so fun. Definitely one of my favorites!

4. Spontaneous things

This summer, since COVID happened, I figured we wouldn’t be able to do much. But my friend Danielle has her license and we ended up having a great summer. Even though some stuff couldn’t happen. We did spontaneous hikes up a mountain, spontaneous drives, spontaneous buyings of whole tubs of ice cream, and even spontaneous Christmas sleepovers in August! Shameless plug 😝 But anyways, throw the word “spontaneous” in front of any adventure and I’m up for it :)))

5. Snail mail

please excuse my messy editing xD

Snail mail is featured on my blog quite often as it’s a large part of my life. I have 10+ pen-pals and I try my best to write to them consistently. It can be hard but some of the best times are when you go the PO Box and you have a couple letters waiting for you 🤩 It’s the literal best!

6. Going to the lake

My family goes to our local lakes and rivers quite often during the summer and it’s always a blast. Paddle boarding around, tanning in the sun, hanging out with friends, eating “lake” food, and swimming is always so fun ❤ Do you have any fun lakes or rivers by where u live?

7. Ice cream!

Ice-cream is always a good idea. I hope you agree with me xD Unless you’re dairy free, then I understand your reluctance to agree with me 🤪 But I’ve ate a lot of ice cream this summer and I don’t regret it. Also one thing we’ve got a bit this year is lasso bars, and they are SOO GOOD. Go buy some pleaaseeeee 😘

8. The setting sky that lasts almost forever

Where I live, the sun doesn’t set in the summertime until 9 or ten on especially lucky days. I love it usually, because I love being outside playing volleyball or softball at like 8:30 and the sun is just setting, it’s amazing ❤ and the sunsets are always so pretty!

And now, that is all! It’s definitely not all of my favorites, two of the bigger ones I didn’t add are my friends and family, and I’m so so thankful for them ❤ I hope you enjoyed, this was a fun tag 🙂

Now for my nominees!

Amber! She’s so sweet, and her comments are the literal best things ever. She’s super connected with her followers and her blogging friends and her blog posts are also super cool 💛 And she starts her posts with “hey popcorns” which is so cute and makes me happy so go check it out!

-Emma! She’s also the sweetest, every time she leaves a comment on my blog I just start smiling so big because her comments are so cute and happy and GO CHECK OUT HER BLOG because she posts wonderful words that’ll instantly make you happy and her younger sister Eve creates the cutest art ❤

She posts about a wide variety of things and I love to read her posts and the many conversations we’ve had in the comments are the absolute best 💕

-Maryam! Guys, this lovely girl’s blog is the dreamiest thing ever 🤩 She’s so amazing and crazy supportive and she’s an actual model, she’s so pretty! Her blog is AH MAZING. She’s going places and i’m so grateful to have been able to get to “know” her!

Eden! The sweetest bean ❤ Her blog is amazing and so is her support. Her comments also make me smile so big and I feel like “wow somebody actually read my blog aww they’re the best” I don’t know how to explain it fully but she’s so sweet 💛

-Esther! Ok guys, Esther here is the real original ❤ She’s been with me almost since I first started my blog and her support is one of the things thats keep me going! She’s so sweet and I love chatting with her in the comments and catching up on each others lives!

Bea co. paper review ft. cute cards and postcards *jumps up and down*

Hello lovelies! How are you today? I hope you’re doing absolutely fabulous 🙂

Today, I’m back with another review and GUYS. These paper products, from Bea over at Beacopaper, have stolen my heart and I love them. They’re amazing, so cute and made of amazing quality! Read on to get my full opinion…

First off, we’ve got these lovely postcards! Postcards are my favorite, I love how simple these ones are and how minimalistic and gorgeous they are 🤩 All of the peach products from Bea’s shop are my favorites, and this peach postcard is no exception. The postcards themselves are made of really thick paper and don’t bend easily which is a big plus, especially since they don’t go in envelopes. Usually anyways 😉 AND THE DESIGNS 🥰

Simple and minimalistic but handy, here are the backs of the postcards! I like how they have lines for you to write the address, sometimes when the postcards don’t have those the writing gets crooked 😦

Bea also sent me this super cute and functional watermelon pin, which is adorable 🍉 Watermelon is so cute and so good to eat, just thinking about it makes me want some 😉 This pin would be really cute to stick in a watermelon themed pen-pal envelope, or on a cute backpack with a couple other pins pinned around it!

Next, we have these ADORABLE cards 🤩 I love cards because then you don’t have to write a whole letter, you can just fill up the card and not feel bad. ;)) Or if you have a lot to write, you can write smaller and fit a lot on the card. These cards are the perfect size in my opinion, I love them. Not too small and not too big.

As you can probably imagine, the peach one is my favorite, I love it. The cards are made of the same thick paper that the postcards are made of and they come with the cute brown envelopes which are so aesthetic! I love them 🙂

If you couldn’t tell, I adore these products and I highly recommend buying them. They are priced really reasonably and the quality is wonderful. Bea is also a dream to work with, she’s so sweet and shipped the products out so quickly! Overall I loved these ❤

Thats all for today! I hope you enjoyed 🙂 Let me know if you’ve ever bought something from Bea’s shop, or if you plan too! I would recommend it 10/10 😉

Have a beautiful day and remember your wonderful and amazing ❤

How to have a Christmas sleepover in August. Because why not? *shrugs*

Hello people! How are you doing? I hope you’re doing wonderful 🙂

Today I’m back with a random post that I hope you’ll love. Last week, my friend and I were cleaning our house and singing karaoke and talking about holidays. Our favorite holiday (Christmas!!!!) came up (obviously ;)) and we were all like “It’s so sad that Christmas isn’t for another like 6 months! Yeah, I wish it was Christmas right now. Wait. What if we had a Christmas sleepover tonight?!? But.. it’s like the middle of summer? Who cares?!” and that was how it went down y’all. And the idea was born. We could go shopping, get supplies, watch a Christmas movie, listen to some Christmas songs, build a “gingerbread” house, and of course, string Christmas lights around the room.

So with all that being said, here are the SIX easy steps to having your very own Christmas sleepover in the middle of August!!

Step one:

Dress festive. Our first idea was to dress like it was winter but we decided that might make us look a bit too weird. So we opted for the more simple, refined look. Christmas themed fuzzy socks. Because fuzzy socks are the best and them being christmassy is just a bonus 😉

Step two:

Get snacks. Preferably Christmas themed ones but alas, since it is August, your local store might not be supplying Christmas snacks unless they are super awesome. We did actually find peppermint sticks so that was cool 🙂 If you’re planning on building a gingerbread house you will need to find some candy and supplies to decorate that! Warm foods and drinks that remind you of winter are also really swell!

Step three:

Create the atmosphere. String some lights up, bring in the fuzzy blankets and pillows. Get comfortable. If you want to be really extra you could even get all the Christmas decor. It’d be great ❤ Our area was pretty cute anyways 🙂

Step 4:

Get yo self some tunes. Preferably Christmas ones so they go with the theme 🙂

Step five:

Pick a holiday themed movie. In this instance we chose to watch Mandie and The Forgotten Christmas and it was pretty good. I fell asleep during it though because I was extremely tired so I need to rewatch it sometime 😉

Step 6:

Build your self a beautiful gingerbread mansion home. And then eat it for breakfast the next morning xD Also if you have some struggles with them architecture and building, believe me, we’ve all been there. It’s rough 🙂 But our “gingerbread house” turned out pretty good and it sure tasted good, until we made ourselves sick anyways 😉

And there you have it! 6 easy steps to having your very own Christmas sleepover in the middle of August.

I hope you enjoyed! Would you have a spontaneous Christmas sleepover in august? What is your favorite thing to do with your friends? What is your favorite holiday? Chat with me in the comments, I’d love to talk!
