Long overdo life update! cheers

Hey friends! How have you all been?! You must’ve grown since much since the last time we’ve spoken- I know I sure have! Not physically of course, I’m still down here at my short height on 5’4 but you know what? I accept it. I think I like myself the height I am, it’s me and it fits my personality. I decided I wanted to pop on and do an update. I don’t know if I’m going to continue blogging.. as seems to be everyones struggle right now.. I popped onto WordPress and the first three posts in my feed were goodbye posts! It’s quite sad but understandable.

Life moves pretty fast guys. You wouldn’t believe how many new experiences I’ve had since I last posted, who knows when that even was! I hit a deer in my newly paid off car last December which was a mess.. I ended up totaling my car sadly but my lovely parents are excellent DIY at home car fixer-uppers so my dear Brenda was fixed up in the beginning of February! I got my first job as a barista in December, it had been a life long dream to work as one and I loved it! Got laid off in February because of lack of business but it was a good time of life. God really works out the best plans for your life!! I got a job with another local coffee shop as a photographer and social media assistant so thats been a fun experience and has opened doors to senior photography, learning more about getting interactions on social media and just meeting new people! I started a thrift account on Instagram as well in January, and man, its been a good time! Sadly I’m not profiting much off of it but its been a super cool experience to build my account, make some thrifting friends and just learn more about owning and managing a small biz! Recently, I got a job at another coffee shop, and just finished my second day of training today! It’s a lot more intense than my first job but I’m so thankful for this opportunity, I think its gonna be a good time ❤

Ok, so thats my little life update 🙂 I’m gonna paste some recent pics below and then im off to church for a clean up but I wanted to post a lil something fast! RNTBoutiques collab and gift ideas!!

Hello lovelies!! How are you doing today?

I’m very very excited for this collab and I’m sure you’ll be able to understand! I recently worked with one of the sweetest shop owners I’ve ever met, and that happens to be Lina Tran, who runs her etsy shop, RNTBoutiques! Lina was so fun to work with and really put a lot of effort into my package 🥰 She was so so thoughtful and opening the box from her felt like getting a present from a friend! She so kindly read my blog and found out I loved cow print and the color blue and then she decided to make that the theme of my box and let me tell you, I ADORE it all!

RNTBoutiques would be the perfect shop to shop at right now coming up to the holiday season as Lina has so many different products available! She has hair clips which are super popular right now, along with some of the cutest fun socks I’ve seen 🤩 She has adorable clay jewelry, phone cases, stickers, scrunchies and so much more. Shopping small is something I’m passionate about as I think it’s just so much better to support and I love helping out the small shop owners! If you see something you love or something you think someone you know may love on the RNTBoutiques shop, I highly encourage you to buy it and bless Lina’s day! I’m sure all orders make her happy 🙂

I absolutely adore these flower claw clips! They work surprisingly well on thick hair and they’re a creative twist on the claw clips everyone is wearing now a days! I also LOVE the colors of them, they’re beautiful! These would work greta as stocking stuffers or as an addition to a gift basket for a friend.

LOOK HOW CUTE!!! The strawberry and blueberry cows have my heart and the aesthetics of the whale and butterfly?! I can’t 🥰

When Lina messaged me and asked if my ears were pierced I was thrilleddd! The jewelry on her site is all so cute and the pieces she sent me do not disappoint! I can’t even express how much I love the daisy earrings, I’ve been wanting some earrings like this and The clay earrings are so intricately designed 🤩 These are a wonderful gift for any earring lover.

As it says on the description of the shop, Lina loves sending extras in her orders! On purchases of $50 and above, you get one of these adorable little suitcases along with other extras 🎉 She sent some scrunchies to me and they matched perfectly with the blue and cow print theme!

AHHH I love these socks!! They’re so cozy and cute to pair with some black leggings and an oversized t-shirt or sweater!

Thankfulness.

Hello! Happy Thanksgiving! If I get this post done today, on Tuesday, we’ll be a couple days early. But still, you can kinda celebrate thanksgiving on any day in my opinion! I wanted to do one thanksgiving post at least, so I decided to do a thankful post, with two of my favorite things, photography, and highlighting my favs. I love highlighting the blessings in my life, it helps me feel so much more grateful and I really need to work on realizing how blessed I am! I feel like we all can forget how blessed we really are and doing posts like this really helps me out 🙂 So without much ado, lets get onto it!

Jesus!

He died for us all and loves us more than we could ever imagine. Oh the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God comes from an awesome song called Reckless Love by Cory Asbury and I highly recommend it. I love Bible journaling and I’m so thankful to live in a country where I’m free to worship as I want too.

2. Food 😋

Ok, these go in no specific order alright??! Food is pretty grand tho 😉 This French toast from a local diner was delicious and not all burnt like the photo suggests haha! Thats just the editing 🙂 I’m thankful for food to feed and nourish my body. And also for taking aesthetic photos and visiting with friends over. One of my newest obsessions is going out to eat with friends! You get to eat good food and try new places, visit your friends, and just all around have a good time ❤

3. The sky and all it’s artwork 🤩

The sky is crazy amazing and I love how its always got a different look ❤ I’m so thankful for the joy it brings me on the daily with either the clouds, the sunrise or the sunset. It’s pretty dang awesome.

3. Friends and the strange plans they go along with.

Friends who make, bake and decorate 8 cakes with you simply because you want to decorate a cake. Also friends who have cake eating parties with you at 9:30 on a Sunday night because life is short and we’ve got to enjoy the little things ✌🏻

4. The Fam Bam

They’re always there for me and they know the real me. They drive me crazy at times but at the end of the day I’m thankful for them and their adventures 🙂

5. Small business owners who collaborated with you!!

I’m so excited for this one guys!! The photo above is from a collab I’ve got scheduled to go up a couple days after Thanksgiving and I’m so thankful for all the kind shop owners who willingly send me products to review and do a post on! It helps get their name out and mine name too and it’s such a fun thing!

6. Old Navy Dresses

Dresses from Old Navy make me so happy. Idk if everyone knows what Old Navy is but basically its just a clothing shop but they actually have really cute and modest dresses and I swear, 90% of my favorite dresses are from there! I recently got two more and I’m obsessed with both of them. First time wearing the black floral one, I found out they have this cute saying on the bottom of their tags and I love it 🥰

7. Quotes that say what you wanted to say but didn’t know how to word it.

I love quotes, I actually just love words? I have a Pinterest board with over 3000 pins of just quotes and words I like and it’s grand 💛 Thankful for people who write quotes that I end up loving. And this quote above, isn’t it great? Nightime just hits different and I love it!

8. My bed and my room and my house.

I’m blessed with my own room and I absolutely love it! It’s where I got to get away and get my alone time and some people may think I’m there too much but it’s really where I’m most at home. I love it.

9. I have no picture but Brenda, my dear car, is a HUGE blessing.

I’v almost got her paid off which is extremely exciting and im thrilled!! She’s always there for me and I rely on her to get me to so many places. I can’t wait for future adventures with her 🥰

10. Thrifting!!

I got these bad boys for 20 bucks last week or a couple weeks ago and I’m in love. I’m in love with a lotta things ok 😂 Anyways, Goodwill is and will forever be one of my favorite places to shop, everything is cheaper, there’s a great variety and its not fast fashion 👌🏼 Being able to thrift is a big blessing!

Spooky fall cookies for you to try yum

Hey girlies! How are youuu? I’m good 🙂

The other day my sister and I got together and we had a little cookie decorating party with a friend! It was super fun and I think the cookies turned out pretty adorable 🥰

So I thought, why not share some pics with you guys! Also, I’ve been having a bit of writers block so if you have any post ideas for me, please please please drop them in the comments, I’d much appreciate!!

Anyways, here’s some photos!

Which cookie is your fav? And I love the Christmas tree one, I had to throw that one in because I’m definitely getting into the holiday spirit 🙂

Ok! After that sneaks peak I’ll give you the recipe haha 🙂

This recipe is called “the best sugar cookies” and it’s a family recipe! They’re super super easy to make and worked perfect for our cookie decorating party!

Ingredients:

1 cup softened butter
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 tsp.almond extract
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups all purpose flour

And then there’s no baking instructions but we baked on 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes! They turned out great and tasted so good!

Next, to decorate we made royal icing which was awesome! It was my first time making this kind of icing and it was so fun to use and super duper easy to make! I’ll link the recipe below 🙂
